Altis Recruitment Recognized as One of Canada’s Best Recruiting and Temporary Staffing Firms for 2025

The Forbes ranking of up to 120 Canadian firms places Altis near the top in all three categories

Our clients have spoken, and we couldn’t be prouder!

Earlier this year, Forbes and research firm Statista launched the inaugural ranking of Canada’s Best Recruiting and Temporary Staffing Firms for 2025, gathering input from more than 15,000 recruiters, hiring managers and HR leaders (including many of our clients) to rank Canada’s top firms in three categories:

  • Professional and Specialist Search: Recruiting firms that place professionals in permanent positions with an annual gross income up to $100,000. 
  • Executive Search: Recruiting firms that place highly qualified candidates in executive-level positions, e.g., CEO, CFO or other department heads, with an annual gross income of more than $100,000.
  • Temporary Staffing: Recruiting firms that place temporary workers and contract positions, excluding interim management positions.

Lucky for us, we’re specialists in all three categories.

After tallying the results, Forbes released the final ranking today, and we’re pleased to see that Altis Recruitment not only made the cut in each category, but we REALLY made it, as in cream of the crop in ALL THREE categories!

Thrilled doesn’t even begin to describe our reaction to the news.  

We work hard as a team, consulting with our clients to learn about their business and hiring needs, interviewing thousands of candidates to learn what their strengths are—and what lights them up—and always looking for interesting, new trends in our many areas of specialization to pass along to the employers we work with.  

The result? We place ~8,000 of this country’s best and brightest candidates with many of Canada’s top employers every year—everything from permanent to temporary and contract roles, spanning entry-level to executive, in a range of industries and sectors from coast to coast.

We love the work we do and are proud to be recognized for it, especially knowing that it came directly from our clients, many of whom took the time to share their experiences with Statista. Huge thanks to our clients for sharing your thoughts!  

As our CEO, Andie Andreou, explains in this Forbes article, this ranking is also the result of a lot of internal work we’ve been doing as a team over the past year to improve our service delivery even further. For example:  

  • We’ve reorganized our team into "Centres of Excellence" across key areas of the business (recruitment, sales, proposals), so that each team member can better focus on their area of specialization and deliver the best possible results.  
  • We’re revamping our technology backend to improve our efficiency. This will help us better source and validate our candidates, so we can connect more employers with the right talent even faster.
  • We’re learning and growing with AI, taking a measured approach when it comes to weaving it into our day-to-day processes in a responsible, ethical way. We place great importance on building strong relationships with our clients and candidates. And we know that while AI can help us be more productive, we believe our human recruiters are better at interviewing and validating talented people. And it shows: We have a less than 2% replacement rate across the 8,000+ placements we make every year.  
  • Another key to our success? The wide net we cast when sourcing our candidates, thanks in part to training our team to counter any unconscious bias that surfaces in the hiring process. We always place the best, most qualified people in the best jobs.

Most of all, we care about our clients and candidates. We love the work we get to do every day and never sacrifice quality for speed.  

Over the coming year, we look forward to placing even more talented people in jobs they love—while aiming for the top spot the Forbes ranking in 2026! Hey, what can we say? We’re a competitive bunch.
