The smell of cherry blossoms in the air can only mean one thing…it’s time to emerge from hibernation and embrace spring by the mountains!

As Stanley Park bustles with walkers and cyclists, outdoor markets start to open, and longer days bring more opportunities to get out and reconnect, we’re itching to bring on spring with events and activities that celebrate the best of the season.

Step outside and embrace the sunshine with this curated list of spring events in Vancouver.

Home Design and Reno Show. April 1. A unique boutique show for homeowners actively focused on renovations. Stop by to source designers who can inspire, and builders and suppliers who can bring your home projects to life.

Easter Parade and Egg Hunt. April 9. Join the annual Easter parade through Ladner Village with the Easter Bunny and the Delta Police Pipe Band. The parade proceeds to an egg hunt at Memorial Park. Don’t forget to bring your Easter spirit by wearing your bunny ears and decorating your bike, wagon or stroller.

Fort Langley Village Farmers’ Market. Opens April 15. An authentic B.C. Farmers’ Market featuring local organic farms and food vendors selling fresh local produce, fresh baked bread & pastries, local craft beers, varietal BC wines & spirits, tasty prepared sauces and salad dressings, and much more!

Asian Night Market Fest Tasting Tour. April 19. Experience a variety of restaurants and cultural cuisines, including Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Thai. Each restaurant will be serving tasting plates, bowls and cups to enjoy, and you will have a chance to learn about each of the participating restaurants.

Vancouver International Wine Festival. April 22–30. The Vancouver International Wine Festival welcomes the world's greatest wine producers and wine drinkers to its annual celebration of wine and food. Widely considered to be the best wine event in North America, it's also one of the biggest and oldest wine events in the world.

Shania Twain Queen of Me Tour. May 2–3. The Queen of Me Tour is one of Shania Twain's biggest tours to date with over 70 shows scheduled. The tour marks the first time fans around the world will get to see the iconic Canadian singer and songwriter in all of her glory in nearly five years! You don’t want to miss this event happening at the Rogers Arena.

Cinco de Mayo Boat Party. May 5. This Cinco de Mayo boat party is like no other! This cruise will feature amazing views of Vancouver, a fully licensed premium bar, two dance floors featuring Hip Hop X Latin music and professional photography.

Mother’s Day Arts Market. May 14. Celebrate Mother's Day at this unique event featuring a variety of activities, special snacks, prizes and more. Sip a mimosa while perusing locally made arts and crafts, meet local artists, enjoy art demos, and enter to WIN the Mother's Day Prize Bundle!

Jurassic World Live Tour. May 19–28. An exciting production that brings the Jurassic World movies to life in a unique new way. The touring show is a family-friendly experience perfect for all ages and features life-sized dinosaurs, detailed sets, brand-new characters and action-packed sequences.

Pride in the Park. June 3. Come down to Memorial Peace Park to celebrate LGBTQ+ pride in Maple Ridge. It’s a free family-friendly event that brings together community members for an afternoon of games, music, a BBQ, face painting, and other fun activities.
